Outstanding IRC Fleet Ready for Acura Key West 2009 Interest Building for IRC Racing at the 2009 Acura Miami Grand Prix
New designs and strong programs are preparing for Acura Key West 2009 (Jan 19 - 23, 2009). The Key West IRC numbers are up from last year and two very competitive classes are ready to do battle. Current entry list: premiere-racing.com Interest is building for IRC racing at the 2009 Acura Miami Grand Prix (Mar 5 - 8, 2009) and Event Organizers report that they are open to including up to two class starts. The ocean waters just off Miami make for superb daytime racing and South Beach is legendary for its restaurants and night life. "A number of programs have approached us and we are polling Key West IRC entrants and other good IRC one designs such as the Swan 42s," said Event Director Peter Craig. "Given sufficient interest, we would most certainly welcome their participation. But we do need to hear from owners that would like to race, so we can make the appropriate race management decisions," he added.
